To provide a panel member excellent in thermal insulation and a manufacturing method thereof while securing its high mechanical strength and incombustibility for a panel member provided with another layer having high mechanical strength on at least one surface of thermal insulation base material configuring a base.SOLUTION: A panel member is configured by bonding thermal insulation base material and a reinforcement layer using inorganic binder B included in thermal insulation base material in which the reinforcement layer is laminated on at least one of a surface of thermal insulation base material configured by curing a composition including at least the inorganic binder B including silicate of alkali metal and a manufacturing method thereof, the reinforcement layer including inorganic binder A and a nonflammable sheet provided with countless through holes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】ベースとなる断熱基材の少なくとも一方の面に高い機械的強度を有する別の層を備えたパネル部材において、高い機械的強度及び不燃性を確保しつつ、断熱性に優れるパネル部材及びその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】アルカリ金属のケイ酸塩を含有する無機バインダーBを少なくとも含む組成物を硬化した断熱基材の少なくとも一方の面に強化層が積層され、強化層が、無機バインダーAと、無数の貫通孔を有する不燃シートとを少なくとも含み、断熱基材と強化層とが、断熱基材に含有される無機バインダーBによって接着されているパネル部材及びその製造方法である。【選択図】図1
