HORIZONTAL DISPLACEMENT RESTRICTION STRUCTURE FOR BASE-ISOLATED BUILDING
To restraint building overturn or collapse by restricting deformation with a tension resistance material, when a horizontal displacement of a base isolation layer of a base-isolated building exceed a tolerance.SOLUTION: A base isolation layer 4 of base-isolated building 1 has tie bars 11 retained through upper spherical seats 20 with their top edges provided at an upper structure 3, and suspended along the height direction of the base-isolated building 1. The tie bars 11 are spaced and retained at a predefined gap to lower spherical seats 30 with their bottom edges provided at an under structure 2 in the range where a horizontal displacement of the upper structure 3 is equal to or less than a predefined horizontal displacement amount at normal time or at a time of acting of an earthquake load. When horizontal displacements of the tie bars 11 are increased in accordance with the horizontal displacement of the upper structure 3 and reached to the predefined horizontal displacement amount, the bottom edges of the tie bars 11 are directly retained to the lower spherical seats 30, and then the horizontal displacement of the upper structure 3 is gradually restricted by the tension resistance of the tie bars 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】 免震建物の免震層の水平変位が許容値を超えた際に、引張抵抗材で変形を抑制し、建物の転倒や崩壊を抑える。【解決手段】 免震建物1の免震層4内に、上端が上部構造3に設けられた上部球面座20を介して保持され、免震建物1の高さ方向に沿って吊持されるタイバー11を備える。タイバー11は、常時ないし地震力作用時において、上部構造3の水平変位が所定水平変位量以下である範囲では、下端が下部構造2に設けられた下部球面座30に所定の隙間をあけて保持される。上部構造3の水平変位に応じてタイバー11の水平変位が進行し、所定水平変位量に達した時に、タイバー11の下端が下部球面座30に直接保持され、以後タイバー11の引張抵抗により上部構造3の水平変位が緩やかに抑制される。【選択図】 図1
