To efficiently install a linear body in the foundation.SOLUTION: A linear body installation method includes: an insertion step of inserting a unit 100 for linear body installation including a rod like member 10 having an optical fiber cable 1 mounted on its outer peripheral surface and a passage 30 formed in an axial direction of the rod like member 10 into a boring hole 40 formed in the foundation; and a filling step of delivering grout to the passage 30 of the unit 100 for linear body installation inserted into the boring hole 40, and filling a space between the outer peripheral surface of the unit 100 for linear body installation and the inner wall surface of the boring hole 40 with the grout from the passage 30.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

【課題】線状体を地盤内に効率よく設置する。【解決手段】線状体設置方法は、光ファイバケーブル１が外周面に取り付けられた棒状部材１０と棒状部材１０の軸方向に沿って形成された通路３０とを備える線状体設置用ユニット１００を地盤に形成されたボーリング孔４０に挿入する挿入工程と、ボーリング孔４０に挿入された線状体設置用ユニット１００の通路３０にグラウトを送出して、通路３０から線状体設置用ユニット１００の外周面とボーリング孔４０の内壁面との間にグラウトを充填する充填工程と、を備える。【選択図】図１
