To provide a remodeling fitting capable of securing water sealing performance between an existing window frame and a new window frame and a remodeling fitting construction method.SOLUTION: A remodeling fitting is formed by fitting a new window frame to the inside of an existing window frame. The existing window frame has an existing mullion, a first existing vertical frame disposed on one side part of the existing mullion, and a second existing vertical frame disposed on the other side part of the existing mullion. The new window frame has: a first new vertical member which is supported by the first existing vertical frame and has a first water sealing material for sealing water between the first new vertical member and an aspect face of the first existing vertical frame; and a second new vertical member which is supported by the second existing vertical frame and has a second water sealing material for sealing water between the second new vertical member and an aspect face of the second existing vertical frame.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
