WATER LEAKAGE PREVENTION DEVICE FOR RAILWAY BRIDGE
The present invention relates to a slot-type water-leakage preventing device for a railway bridge capable of being easily replaced and, more specifically, to a new concept technology capable of preventing a leakage of rainwater through a gap between slabs of an expansion joint installed in a railway bridge and providing the convenience for maintenance by preventing a water leakage at the same time. An existing water-leakage preventing device causes a water leakage due to an overflow of rainwater through a gap between a drainage plate and a built-in frame as the drainage plate is laid on the built-in frame. Rainwater received into the bridge supporting device causes corrosion. Therefore, problems of degrading the appearance of the railway bridge and reducing durability and safety are caused. To solve the problems, the present invention provides the technology for installing skirt supporting holders on lateral surfaces that a pair of separated slabs face each other respectively, connecting guide slots formed on the skirt supporting holders to the outside, and slide-fitting skirt supporting bars formed on both upper ends of a leakage preventing skirt along the guide slots and fitting holes formed on the skirt supporting holders.
