Concrete highway bridge over Alameda Creek near Niles, Calif, supporting 26 ft road with 2 ft wide curbs consists of box girder with two cantilevered slabs; box girder is supported by single cylindrical pier shafts 35 to 55 ft high, with 7 ft in diam at top and 1.48 batter; more than half of bridge is on curve of 750-ft radius which necessitated 11% superelevation of deck.
