Design and construction of 6.54 mi section of Oregon highway system; blanket course of 4 in. of crushed gravel was covered by 15 in. bottom course of crushed gravel passing 1 1/2-in. screen; bottom course was placed in 3 layers of 5 in. each and topped with 3 in. of plant-mix asphalt base placed in 2 courses; asphalt concrete was used for base course and wearing surface.
