RAILWAY EXPANSION DEVICE The invention relates to a device (1) for a railroad track traveled in a longitudinal direction (L) by a railway vehicle including at least one wheel (5), the device (20) comprising a first rail (20) and a second rail (25) extending longitudinally in the extension of one another, and being separated by a space (30). The rails comprise a proximal portion (61, 75) and a distal portion (63, 77) respectively defining running surfaces (69, 73, 81, 82) situated in a same running plane (P). A central device (35) extends longitudinally from the proximal portion of the first rail to the proximal portion of the second rail and forms a central running surface (91) continuous from a first point (A) to a second point (B) if projected on the longitudinal direction.
