본 발명은 적어도 하나의 바퀴(5)를 포함하는 철도 차량이 길이방향(L)으로 이동되는 철도 선로를 위한 장치(1)에 관한 것으로, 상기 장치(1)는 상호 길이방향으로 연장되며 공간(30)에 의해 상호 이격되는 제1 레일(20) 및 제2 레일(25)을 포함한다. 상기 레일 각각은 동일한 주행평면(P)에 위치하는 주행면들(69, 73, 81, 82)을 규정하는 근위부(61, 75) 및 원위부(63, 77)를 포함한다. 중앙 장치(35)는 길이 방향으로 상기 제1 레일의 근위부에서 상기 제2 레일의 근위부로 연장되며 길이 방향 상에서 제1점(A)에서 제2점(B)으로 연속적인 중앙 주행면(91)을 형성한다. 제1 원위장치(40) 및 제2 원위장치(45)는 각각 상기 제1 레일 및 상기 제2 레일의 원위 부분에서 근위 부분까지 길이방향으로 각각 연장되며, 각각, 상기 주행평면에서, 길이방향 상에서 제1점(C)에서 상기 제1점까지 및 상기 제2점에서 제4점(D)까지 각각 연속적인 2개의 추가 주행면들을 각각 형성한다. 또한, 본 발명은 이에 대응되는 방법에 관한 것이다.
