A related preparation method of a water reducer for concrete comprises the following concrete steps: a, adding 70%-80% of sulfamic acid, salicylic acid, water and majority of potassium hydroxide into a reaction kettle, then adding melamine and formaldehyde, so as to generate a transparent solution; b, performing heating reaction at 80 DEG C for 2 h, and using the residual 20%-30% of sulfamic acid to adjust pH of the reaction solution to 5.5; and c, performing heating reaction at 85 DEG C for 2 h, cooling to 20 DEG C, using the residual potassium hydroxide to adjust pH to 9, so as to obtain the transparent water reducer with the solid content of 55%. The concrete water-reducer preparation method employing the above design is simple, and the prepared water reducer is good in effect when being applied to concrete.
