The invention relates to novel diatom ooze base powder. The novel diatom ooze base powder is composed of the following ingredients by weight: 35-55KG of fine silica, 10-25KG of kaolin, 0.5-1.5KG of attapulgite, 2.5-3.5KG of sepiolite, 0.2-2KG of negative oxygen ions, 1.2-2KG of cellulose, 0.5-0.7KG of wooden fibres, 0.2-0.6KG of sliding bubbles, 40-60KG of heavy calcium carbonate, 0.1-0.3KG of resisting cellulose, 15-25KG of coarse sand, 4-6KG of ash-calcium powder, 1.5-2.5KG of nano-titanium dioxide and 1-5KG of inorganic pigments, wherein the raw materials proportioned by weight are mixed and added in a dispersion machine, dispersed for 15 minutes in the dispersion machine, and filtered to obtain the product. Compared with common building and ornament materials, the novel diatom ooze base powder disclosed by the invention is free from any toxic substance and high in adhesion force, is capable of being powerfully bonded with the basic layer of a wall body and guaranteeing no hollowing, falling-off and pulverization, and is more water-resistant, moistureproof and breathable.
