The invention relates to a step ladder capable of adjusting the height, which comprises a left ladder frame, a right ladder frame and a fixed disc and is reasonable in design, simple in structure, easy to produce and manufacture, flexible and convenient to use and capable of adjusting the height. The step ladder is characterized in that the top of the left ladder frame (9) is connected with the top of the right ladder frame (8) through a propping connector (6), the middle part of the left ladder frame is connected with the middle part of the right ladder frame through a rope (10), a brace support (11) is connected to the middle of the left ladder frame (9), a movable rod through hole (7) is formed in the upper side and lower side of the right ladder frame (8), the fixed disc (5) is installed at the outer side of the right ladder frame (8) at the right end of a pedal shaft (2), a footboard (4) is installed in the right ladder frame (8), and the footboard (4) is fixed to the outer sides of two ends of the right ladder frame (8) through screws (3). A movable rod (1) is installed in each pedal shaft (2), and two ends of each pedal shaft (2) are fixed by a screw cap (12). The step ladder capable of adjusting the height can be folded to rise and unfolded to fall.
