The invention relates to a method for preparing building materials by utilizing regenerate aggregate and modified plant fibers and products made from the building materials. The method comprises the three steps of preparing raw materials, extruding and molding, and leaving the molded raw materials to stand. The technology is simple, the utilization rate for solid waste is high, energy is saved, and the method is environmentally-friendly. The invention further provides a non-burning brick prepared by implementing the method. The non-burning brick is light in weight, is better in strength, is good in durability, is good in toughness, is good in crack resistance, is smaller in energy consumption and is pollution-free to environment; raw materials use cement, regenerate aggregate, modified plant fibers and the like; the raw materials are mixed and stirred uniformly, then the uniformly stirred raw materials are vibrated, extruded and formed in a mold to obtain an unfired brick, and after steam curing, the unfired brick is placed outside at a normal temperature for a period of time to obtain the finished product.
