Ceramic mould preparation gypsum powder includes a main material and an auxiliary material, the main material component includes desulfurization gypsum and citric acid gypsum with the mass ratio of 3:1-5:1; the auxiliary material includes a retarder, calcium sulphate whisker and quick lime, the retarder accounts for 0.01-0.05 % by mass of the main material, the calcium sulfate whisker accounts for 0-2 % by mass of the main material, and the quick lime accounts for 0-2 % by mass of the main material. The preparation method of the ceramic mould preparation gypsum powder is as follows: (1) the desulfurization gypsum and the citric acid gypsum are put into a fluidized bed calcining system for calcining; (2) the calcined main material is ground by grinding equipment; (3) the ground main material is added with the auxiliary materials for modifying. The gypsum powder water absorption rate is high, condensation expansion rate is restrained, and the intensity is high.
