The invention discloses a method for preparing a water soluble yellow ceramic glaze. The method is characterized by comprising the following steps: adding 35-45% of ammonium fluozirconate, 1.0-2.0% of carboxymethyl cellulose, 20-30% of ammonium fluosilicate, 1-5% of ammonium dichromate, 10-25% of ammonium fluoroborate, 5-15% of praseodymium chloride in a reactor, wherein the sum of components is 100%, grinding and mixing uniformly to obtain the water soluble yellow ceramic glaze. The obtained water soluble yellow ceramic glaze is packaged by a plastic product and sealed to keep away from moisture. The using method of the water soluble yellow ceramic glaze is as follows: dissolving the water soluble yellow ceramic glaze in hot water with the mass concentration of 21-23% at the temperature of 50-60 DEG C, uniformly spraying the water soluble yellow ceramic glaze solution on a ceramic biscuit by a sprayer and sintering at 950-1050 DEG C to obtain the product.
