Secondary SiC/mullite brick recycle pre-treatment process
A secondary SiC/mullite brick recycle pre-treatment process belongs to the technical field of building material high-temperature fireproof materials. The process particularly includes following steps and parameters: (1) crushing secondary SiC/mullite brick into granules being not more than 8 mm in granularity, and adding water with stirring to soak the secondary SiC/mullite brick granules for 0.5-3 h by 4-8 times, wherein the mass ratio of the granules to water is 1:1-1:5; (2) precipitating and concentrating the soaked mixture to obtain a material, wherein the material after precipitation and concentration is 20-40% in water content; (3) dehydrating and draining the concentrated material, wherein the dehydrated and drained material is 10-15% in water content; the (4) performing air-drying to obtain an air-dried material which is 1-2% in water content. The process can effectively remove soluble salts from the secondary SiC/mullite bricks so that a better application value of the secondary SiC/mullite bricks in a castable can be achieved.
