The invention discloses a homogenized corundum refractory castable and a preparation method thereof, and belongs to the technical filed of high temperature refractory materials. The homogenized corundum refractory castable comprises the following raw materials, by mass, 15-25% of homogenized corundum with the particle size of greater than 5mm and not greater than 8mm, 10-20% of homogenized corundum with the particle size of greater than 3mm and not greater than 5mm, 10-20% of homogenized corundum with the particle size of greater than 1mm and not greater than 3mm, 10-15% of homogenized corundum with the particle size of greater than 0.088mm and not greater than 1mm, 5-10% of homogenized corundum with the particle size of not greater than 0.088mm, 10-20% of 97 silicon carbide, 2-5% of pure calcium aluminate cement, 0-10% of alumina micro-powder, 1-3% of silicon micro-powder, 2-3% of a composite carbon material and 2-3% of an antioxidant, and also comprises 0.1-0.3wt% of an additive. The homogenized corundum refractory castable can effectively prolong the service life of a tapping yard main channel castable, and reduces the cost of ton of iron.
