The invention discloses a polyphenyl grade A fireproof insulating board and a preparation method thereof. The polyphenyl grade A fireproof insulating board is prepared by mould-pressing a polyphenyl composite material which is mixed with water, wherein the polyphenyl composite material comprises polystyrene foam particles and a high-strength mixed material. The high-strength mixed material comprises the following components: cement, an excitant, gypsum powder, aluminum hydroxide, aluminum silicate and rubber powder. The polyphenyl grade A fireproof insulating board disclosed by the invention not only maintains the advantages of an organic insulating material in insulating performance, but also has a A1 grade combustion grade, has the advantage of good flame retardance and is high in strength and good in thermal stability. The polyphenyl grade A fireproof insulating board disclosed by the invention has the advantage of excellent comprehensive performance and can be directly used for insulative and decorative integrated boards, partition board mobile houses, insulative bricks, furniture auxiliary materials, wall pouring and the like. In addition, the polyphenyl grade A fireproof insulating board disclosed by the invention is free of pollution and discharge in the using process and has the advantage of environmental protection.
