The invention relates to a method for preparing a porous ceramic by using re-dispersible latex powder. A technical scheme adopted in the invention is characterized in that the method comprises the following steps: putting ceramic mixed powder in a ball mill, and co-milling to prepare a uniform co-milled material; 2, putting the co-milled material, the re-dispersible latex powder, a water reducer and water in a variable frequency high speed homogenizer in proportion, and carrying out high speed stirring to prepare a latex uniformly dispersed slurry; injecting the latex uniformly dispersed slurry into a die, and carrying out vibration molding; placing the above obtained cast molded body and the die in an electrothermal air blast drying box, carrying out heat treatment at 70-100DEG C for 24-48h, and demolding to obtain a blank; and drying the blank at 110-150DEG C for 20-24h, and calcining the dried blank in a high temperature kiln at 1500-1700DEG C for 4-6h to obtain the porous ceramic. The preparation method of the porous ceramic adopts the re-dispersible latex powder as a pore forming agent, so the designability of the pore structure and the controllability of the process flow are realized. Molding is carried out through adopting a vibration casting technology, and drying shrinkage of the blank is small, so the near-net-shape molding of abnormal members is realized; and the method has the advantages of simple process flow, accuracy, controllability, short preparation cycle, and easy large-scale production.
