The invention relates to a ceramic possessing glaze stripping effect and a preparation method thereof. The base substrate of the ceramic is sprayed with ink and a transparent glaze layer, the ink comprises a hydrophobicity compound, wherein, the hydrophobicity compound is a low molecular organic fluoride, and the hydrophobicity compound accounts for 0.05-5.0% of mass percentage of ink. The ink in the invention has hydrophobic effect, the ink is sprayed on the ceramic base substrate, a slurry by taking water as a solvent is sprayed on the ink, the slurry can be uniformly sprayed on the ink layer, due to hydrophobicity of the ink layer, and the slurry can be stripped to form recess. The ceramic base substrate is sintered and polished to obtain the ceramic product with recess on the surface, and the recess position is matte. The glaze stripping effect can be realized on the ceramic base substrate through the above mode.
