The invention belongs to the technical field of building construction, and relates to a rotary building structure comprising a framework, a bottom layer unit, and a plurality of upper layer units. The framework comprises a plurality of upright columns, a bottom support frame and a plurality of upper support frames. The bottom support frame and the upper support frames are respectively provided with a plurality of rollers and a combination of a plurality of drive gears and drive devices along their circumferential directions. The bottom layer unit and the upper layer units comprise a circular house base plate and a circular house roof plate; the house base plate and the house roof plate are horizontally and coaxially arranged, with the house base plate being under the house roof plate; both the house base plate and the house roof plate are connected by walls and a plurality of rooms are divided by the walls therebetween. The wall of a room far away from the center is provided with a window. The wall of the bottom layer unit far away from the center is provided with a stair door. An annular rail is arranged below the house base plate. The house base plate is put on the rollers through the rail. The entire bottom layer unit or the upper layer units can rotate on the rollers. A driven gear which is engaged with the drive gears is arranged below the house base plate. By using the rotary building structure, the whole scenic region can be seen, and the orientations of the windows can be selected at will.
