The invention relates to a method for precisely installing an R-shaped dry hanging stone plate hanging element. The method comprises the following operation steps of: performing wall surface planning; installing sub keels; installing main keels; installing and regulating a first layer of stone plates; designing and regulating a main support plate clamp; installing and regulating a main support plate; forming stone plate installing grooves; designing hanging element bonding clamps; and bonding and regulating the hanging elements and the like. The invention provides a method of using the clamp to complete the basic preparation work of large-scale stone plate installation in an assisting manner by aiming at the installation of a large-scale stone plate curtain wall. The method has the advantages that a conventional installing process is improved; the normative operation process flow is adopted; the building construction quality consistency is improved; the installation precision and the installation efficiency of the stone plates are improved; and convenience is brought to automatic and assisted automatic installation of the large-scale stone plate curtain wall.
