The invention provides a parking space management device, which structurally and partially comprises a base, a press plate executing mechanism, a baffle plate executing mechanism and a steel wire rope transmission mechanism, wherein the press plate executing mechanism, the baffle plate executing mechanism and the steel wire rope transmission mechanism are arranged in the base; the press plate executing mechanism comprises a press plate, a guide post, a first spring and a steel wire rope connecting post, and has a self resetting function; the press plate executing mechanism and the baffle plate executing mechanism are connected through the steel wire rope transmission mechanism; the baffle plate executing mechanism comprises a baffle plate and a pre-tightening spring; and the initial state of a baffle plate can be in either one state in the following two states: 1, in a vacant state of a parking space without a car, the press plate is positioned in a high position, the baffle plate is flatly placed, and the state is a vacant and available-parking-space state; and 2, in a vacant state of the parking space without the car, the press plate is positioned in the high position, the baffle plate is in an inclined state, and the state is the vacant and occupied-parking-space state. The parking space management device has the advantages that the structural design is ingenious; the action of the baffle plate is realized through the self weight of the car and the transmission of the steel wire rope transmission mechanism; the automation degree is high; and no energy is consumed.
