The invention discloses a ceramsite aerated building block added with shell powder, which is characterized by being prepared from following raw materials, by weight, 12-14 parts of shell powder, 30-50 parts of ceramsite, 15-30 parts of fly ash, 8-12 parts of quick lime, 16-20 parts of cement, 0.2-0.5 parts of aluminum powder, 2-4 parts of gypsum powder, 15-20 parts of sludge, 0.3-0.5 parts of calcium lignosulphonate, 1-3 parts of iron powder, 3-5 parts of nano aluminum oxide, 2-4 parts of carbon black, 15-20 parts of anhydrous ethanol and a proper quantity of water. A technical method in the invention solves the problem that ceramsite is liable to be crushed during processing and is non-uniform in distribution in a slurry material. The added shell powder can regulate moisture of the building block, so that the building block is not liable to crack, thereby achieving excellent indoor living condition under proper moisture. The building block is high in waste recycle rate, is simple in process, is low in cost, is environment-protective and saves natural sources, and is valuable to popularize.
