The invention discloses a preparation method for a cement material. The preparation method comprises the following steps: a, uniformly mixing limestone, iron powder and water under stirring according to mass percents so as to form a mixture; b, grinding the mixture in a grinder for 30 min so as to produce a cement raw meal; c, adding clay and fly ash into the cement raw meal, carrying out grinding for 30 min, then putting the ground mixture in a rotary kiln and sintering the mixture with coal so as to obtain cement clinker; and d, taking out the cement clinker, adding 20% of a mixed material into the cement clinker and carrying out stirring so as to form the cement material. The preparation method for the cement material is simple to operate and improves production efficiency; manufacturing cost of cement is reduced as clay and fly ash are used to replace clinker; and a building poured with the cement material has good viscosity, and the cement material is hard to fall off.
