Method for preparing cast stone mill balls by utilizing basalt
The invention discloses a method for preparing cast stone mill balls by utilizing basalt. The raw material comprises the following components in parts by weight: 42 to 48 parts of basalt mineral powder, 6 to 8 parts of quartz sand, 4 to 8 parts of alumina, 6 to 10 parts of limestone, 5 to 7 parts of soda, 4 to 7 parts of zirconia, 2 to 4 parts of barium carbonate, 1 to 2 parts of boric acid and 4 to 8 parts of ferrous oxide; all the components are mixed to obtain a cast stone mixture, the cast stone mixture is thermally preserved at 1500 to 1550 DEG C for 10 to 12 hours to obtain cast stone melt; the cast stone melt fallen into a semispherical mold assembly formed by buckling two semispherical molds is extruded into regular cast stone balls; the cast stone balls are nucleated and crystallized in a crystallization furnace, then the cast stone balls are annealed and cooled, and after the surfaces of the cast stone balls are milled, a cast stone mill ball finished product is obtained. The prepared basalt cast stone ball has the characteristics of regular size, high concentricity, high density and large intensity, and the density is 2.9 to 3.3 g/cm<3>, the breaking strength reaches up to 120 to 280 Mpa, and the abrasion resistant coefficient is 0.08 to 0.12g/cm<2>.
