The invention discloses a torpedo ladle lid lining and a preparation method of the torpedo ladle lid lining. The technical scheme is as follows: the torpedo ladle lid lining is composed of a castable body and a coating. The preparation method comprises the following steps that potassium feldspar, spodumene, silica powder, potassium carbonate, silicoaluminum and acrylic resin are taken as raw materials for the coating; water, which is 80 to 150 wt% of the coating raw materials, is added; the raw materials and the water are subjected to a ball-grinding operation so as to obtain slurry for later use; alumina homogenization material particles, flint clay particles, alumina bubbles, refractory fiber particles, alumina fine powder, SiC fine powder, kyanite fine powder, SiO2 micro-powder, calcium aluminate cement, mullite fibers, stainless steel fibers and a water reducing agent are taken as raw materials for the castable body; water, which is 6 to 12 wt% of the castable body, is added; the raw materials and the water are blended uniformly; the mixture is poured into a torpedo ladle lid steel member for natural curing; the slurry is sprayed or painted on the surface of the torpedo ladle lid steel member, and the torpedo ladle lid steel member is dried, and is baked at a temperature of 500 to 900 DEG C, so that the torpedo ladle lid lining is formed. The torpedo ladle lid lining has the advantages of good heat preservation performance, high strength, excellent corrosion resistance and long service life.
