The invention discloses a flame-retardant thermal insulation mortar. The flame-retardant thermal insulation mortar is prepared from, by weight, 8-12 parts of coated slag, 30-40 parts of cement, 1-2 parts of magnesium sulfate, 1-3 parts of sodium silicate, 1-3 parts of rice husk charcoal, 3-6 parts of copper 8-hydroxyquinoline, 0.2-0.3 part of anhydrous sodium sulphate, 0.1-0.2 part of antioxidant 168, 1-2 parts of barium metaborate, 5-10 parts of magnesia, 8-12 parts of pyrophillite, 0.2-0.4 part of glycine betaine, 1-2 parts of triethanolamine, 1-2 parts of magnesium oxide, 0.3-0.5 part of tetrabromobisphenol A, 1-3 parts of boron carbide, 1-2 parts of dioctyl phthalate,1-2 parts of urea and a proper amount of water.
