The invention discloses a polymer cement-based waterproof coating material and a preparation method thereof. The polymer cement-based waterproof coating material is composed of a liquid material A anda powder material B, wherein the liquid material A is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 70 to 95 parts of polymer emulsion, 10 to 30 parts of 108 glue, 5 to 20 parts of water, 0.05 to 1 part of a defoaming agent and 0.05 to 0.5 part of a bactericide, the powder B is prepared from 30-60 parts of Portland cement, 30-60 parts of quartz sand and 0.01-0.5 part of a dispersing agent, a weight ratio of the liquid material A to the powder material B is 1:(2-2.5), the liquid material A and the powder material B are mixed and stirred uniformly to form the cement-based waterproof coating material with a certain flexibility. According to the formula, the low-temperature flexibility of the waterproof coating can be effectively improved, and the bonding strength is improved.
