The invention discloses a profiling steel rail grinding wagon which comprises at least two wagon bodies connected in sequence and used for moving in the length direction of a steel rail to be ground.Any vehicle body is provided with a plurality of grinding stones with arc-shaped grinding surfaces; any grinding stone is connected with a motor used for driving the grinding stone to rotate, a movingmechanism used for driving the grinding stone to horizontally move and a deflection mechanism used for driving the grinding stone to deflect. All the vehicle bodies are connected with pantographs used for being connected with an overhead line system to achieve driving and generator sets used for being started to achieve driving when the pantographs do not run.
