The invention provides a box-type water filling cofferdam structure and an installation and disassembly construction method. The cofferdam structure comprises a box-type structure composed of steel pipes and steel plates. According to the cofferdam structure, a steel pipe frame and the steel plates are adopted to meet the requirements of a body type and structural stress of a cofferdam, a flap valve is arranged to control the amount of water in the box-type cofferdam, the overall weight of the cofferdam is controlled, the problems of bottom water stopping, overall stability and hoisting are solved, inflation water stop bags are arranged at the two ends of the cofferdam, the problems of lateral water leakage of the cofferdam and conformability during repeated installation are solved, in combination with structural characteristics, the feasible construction method is provided, and the feasibility and reliability of the cofferdam structure are guaranteed, so that the cofferdam structure design and construction problems of municipal box culvert desilting in rainy seasons and reconstruction construction under the condition that the water retaining depth is smaller than 3.0 m are solved.
