The invention discloses a high-strength ceramic tile. The high-strength ceramic tile comprises a bottom layer 1 and a surface layer 3, and the high-strength ceramic tile is characterized by further comprising a reinforcing layer 2, wherein the bottom layer 1 is formed by firing composite materials such as clay, quartz and feldspar; the surface layer 3 is formed by firing composite materials such as clay, quartz and feldspar; the reinforcing layer 2 is a metal mesh; and the metal mesh is of a mesh structure formed by weaving iron wires. The ceramic tile prepared by the invention is durable, noteasy to break, capable of reducing the replacement frequency, and easier to maintain. The invention further discloses a preparation method of the high-strength ceramic tile. The preparation method issimple in step and high in practicability.
