The invention discloses an underground river diversion method based on karst cave underground river environment tunnel construction. The method comprises the following steps that S1, excavation construction is conducted outside a karst cave area to obtain a drainage tunnel communicating with the upstream portion of an underground river; S2, excavation construction is conducted outside the karst cave area to obtain a blocking channel communicating with the upstream portion of the underground river, and the intersection point of the blocking channel and the underground river is located at the downstream portion of the intersection point of the drainage tunnel and the underground river; S3, the underground river is blocked through the blocking channel, so that river water is diverted to flowout from the drainage tunnel; S4, excavation construction is conducted outside the karst cave area to obtain a backfilling channel communicating with the downstream portion of the underground river; and S5, the downstream portion of the underground river is subjected to backfilling through the backfilling channel. The method has the advantages of being convenient in operation, stable and reliable,high in safety and capable of preventing the settlement of a backfilling body.
