The invention discloses a method for manufacturing a passenger dedicated line railway turnout sliding platen with a high-speed laser cladding surface. The method comprises the following steps of setting the focus point of a laser beam at 1.5-2.5mm above the upper surface of the platen, and transporting Fe-based alloy powder to the focus point; first heating the surface of the platen by the laser beam to form a molten pool; making the Fe-based alloy powder heated by the laser beam form a molten or semi-molten Fe-based alloy powder liquid and then drop into the molten pool, and then using the heat conduction effect of the platen for rapid cooling to form a metallurgical combination of the coating and the platen metal; and after subsequent processing, manufacturing a turnout sliding platen with rust and wear resistance on the surface. The method has the advantages of avoiding the defect that the melting state is not uniform and some parts cannot form a metallurgical bond with the coatingwhen laser cladding after the powder alloy is placed on the surface of the substrate surface of the platen, having high efficiency, small heat input and no deformation of the substrate, and being ableto meet the needs of large-scale production.
