The invention relates to a shrub mixed planting method for a railway slope in a desertification region. A framework and hollow bricks in window holes of the framework are constructed on the slope, andholes are dug in the hollow bricks for mixed planting of atriplex canescens and caragana microphylla. According to the method, shrubs such as the atriplex canescens and the caragana microphylla suitable for growing in the desertification region are selected and planted on the railway slope in the desertification region in a mixed manner in a certain mode, and a slope greening system is formed byreplacing and filling of high-quality planting soil, the drought-enduring and saline-alkaline-enduring shrubs, appropriate intercepting water measures and initial maintenance, so that the greening effect of the railway slope in the desertification region is ensured. The method has the advantages of being good in greening effect, high in soil conservation capacity, short in maintenance time, capable of saving water and low in cost, and is suitable for slope and terrace greening of railways, highways and the like in the desertification region.
