The low-shrinkage porous silicon nitride ceramic comprises the following components: methacrylamide, pure water, a sintering aid, alpha silicon nitride, a metal oxide, aluminum oxide, a rare earth oxide, dimethylacrylamide and a dispersing agent. By adopting the technical scheme, the low-shrinkage porous silicon nitride ceramic prepared by the method is simple to operate, the ceramic powder is dispersed in the organic monomer solution, and the organic monomer is subjected to in-situ polymerization reaction under the action of the catalyst and the initiator to form a net-shaped structure to wrap the ceramic powder to form a hard and solid green body, compared with slip casting, the forming period is short, the structure and density of the product are uniform, the performance is stable and reliable, compared with slip casting, gel casting does not need an expensive forming mold, wateris generally used as a dispersion medium, only a small amount of adhesive is needed, and therefore a strict adhesive discharging procedure is not needed, and the method is suitable for batch production and one-time forming of special workpieces.
