The invention relates to an equipment monitoring technology, and in particular relates to a railway ballast screen scarifier working parameter monitoring method. The method comprises the following steps: monitoring the rotating speed of a driving shaft of a walking device, the linear speed of an excavation chain, the excitation frequency of a vibrating screen, the rotating speed of a conveying belt roller of a conveying device and the driving pressure and flow of a driving motor by using sensors; and calculating the running speed, the rotating speed of the driving motor and the driving torqueaccording to the monitoring data, and finally calculating the driving power of the operating walking device, the excavation system, the vibrating screen and the conveying device. Through collection, analysis and calculation of a large amount of monitoring data, operation key parameters such as the operation efficiency, the operation power and the operation speed and the internal relation between the operation key parameters can be directly derived, and the obtained data can provide reference for the design of basic parameters of a railway ballast screen scarifier.
