The invention provides a scaffold member and a connecting structure of the scaffold member. A scaffold member (10) is provided with a wedge part (20A) at the end of a main body part of a cross member(12). The wedge part is provided with a wedge part main body (22) having an insertion part (26), and a retaining body (24) inserted into the insertion part (26). The first abutting part (42) and the third abutting part (62) of the anti-falling body are configured to be capable of releasing constraint in an unlocking state of moving upwards from a locking state. A step part (64) is arranged at theposition, opposite to the end of the transverse frame piece, of the upper part of the anti-disengagement body, and a spring component (52) which always elastically presses the anti-disengagement bodytowards the face, on the transverse frame piece side, of the insertion part (26) is arranged between the step part and the end of the transverse frame piece. A spring support rod (50) of the winding spring member has a sliding part (50b) that is in sliding contact with the retaining body and that comes into contact with a step (66) of the step part (64) when transitioning from the locked state tothe unlocked state.
