The invention relates to a large steel cofferdam bottom sealing hanging system and a using method thereof. The large steel cofferdam bottom sealing hanging system comprises a cross beam, hanging rods,connecting pieces and opposite-pull rods; the cross beam is erected at the top of a steel casing; the top ends of the hanging rods are connected with the cross beam through the connecting pieces; thebottom ends of the hanging rods are connected with a bottom plate; the opposite-pull rods are fixedly connected to the hanging rods above the cross beam; the cross beam comprises outer sleeve beams and extensible beams; the extensible beams are slidably connected with the outer sleeve beams; the outer diameter of the outer sleeve beams is smaller than the inner diameter of the steel casing; the outer sleeve beams are inserted into the steel casing; and the ends of the extensible beams extend out of the steel casing and are connected with the hanging rods and the connecting pieces, or the endsof the extensible beams extend into the outer sleeve beams. The system has the advantages of being simple in structure, convenient to use, good in economical efficiency, high in applicability, largein bearing capacity and more suitable for large steel hanging box cofferdam construction.
