The invention discloses rail rust cleaning equipment based on smart city construction, and particularly relates to the field of rails. The rail rust cleaning equipment comprises a rail and a rack, wherein an inner groove is integrally formed in the middle of the rail, a control box is fixedly installed in the middle of the rack, and fixing blocks are fixedly installed on the left side and the right side of the bottom surface of the rack; and a transmission wheel is installed in the fixing block in a transmission mode, a top cleaning wheel is fixedly installed outside the transmission wheel ina sleeving mode, the bottom face of the top cleaning wheel makes contact with the top face of the rail, and a first driving wheel is fixedly installed on the front face of the rack. The equipment is advantaged in that an air pump, a first driving wheel and a second driving wheel are started at the same time through the controller, the first driving wheel drives the transmission wheel, the second driving wheel drives the bottom cleaning wheel to be in linkage, the bottom cleaning wheel is matched with the first linkage belt to drive the grinding wheel to rotate, and the side face of the inner groove is cleaned through the grinding wheel; therefore, sweeps on the surfaces of the rail and the inner groove can be efficiently and quickly removed.
