A deceleration strip with overspeed detecting and photographing functions comprises a ground, a speed detecting device is arranged in the ground, the speed detecting device is used for detecting whether the speed of a vehicle is within a certain range or not, and the speed detecting device comprises a transmission cavity. The device can remind a vehicle of speed reduction when the vehicle rolls the deceleration strip; meanwhile, whether the vehicle speed is overspeed or not is judged according to the time interval of rolling the deceleration strip in the speed detection device through a front wheel and a rear wheel, and when it is detected that the vehicle speed is too high, a camera in a photographing recording device can be started to record information of the vehicle; when the vehicle is not overspeed, the photographing recording device is not started, and meanwhile, the camera is always located in the closed space, so that the risk of natural damage can be reduced, man-made damage can be avoided, the service life of the device is prolonged, the whole device is high in integrity, all functions are matched with one another, and the detection efficiency is improved.
