The preparation method comprises the steps that pitch coke, petroleum coke and carbon black are weighed in proportion, then pitch is added, the mixture is evenly mixed and pressed into a blank, the blank is sequentially subjected to high-temperature curing and graphitization, and a graphite-based blank is obtained; and the graphite-based blank is sequentially subjected to pressure impregnation of unsaturated aldehyde ester, metal antimony impregnation and secondary pressure impregnation of unsaturated aldehyde ester, and then the wear-resistant graphite-based self-lubricating bearing material is obtained. According to the preparation method provided by the invention, unsaturated aldehyde ester and metal antimony are adopted for impregnation, so that the lubricating property of resin impregnated graphite is retained, the Shore hardness, compressive strength, breaking strength and high-temperature resistance of the resin impregnated graphite are greatly improved, the porosity is reduced, and the application requirements under high-temperature, large-load, low-rotating-speed and lubrication-free working conditions can be met; the preparation method is simple, the process is controllable, large-scale production is easy, and the practical application prospect is good.
