The invention discloses a long-life tundish slag line dry material. The dry material is prepared from, by weight, 60-80 parts of sintered magnesia particles, 20-40 parts of fused magnesia powder, 2.5-4.0 parts of solid resin powder, 2-8 parts of an additive and 0.5-1.5 parts of a sintering agent, and the additive is one or a combination of more of chromium oxide micro powder, zirconium oxide micro powder and aluminum oxide micro powder. The tundish slag line dry material has the beneficial effects that by changing the composition of the tundish slag line dry material, the erosion resistance, the wettability resistance and the scouring resistance are improved, and the loss is reduced, so that the service life of the whole tundish is prolonged.
