The hollow fiber yarn comprises a hollow fiber yarn body and the asphalt regenerant arranged in an inner cavity of the hollow fiber yarn body, wherein a shell of the hollow fiber yarn body is provided with a micropore channel, and the micropore channel is used for the asphalt regenerant to pass through. The invention also provides preparation and application methods of the hollow fiber yarn containing the asphalt regenerant. The hollow fiber yarn containing the asphalt regenerant has the advantages that the hollow fiber yarn containing the asphalt regenerant is mixed into an asphalt mixture and serves as a laying base material of an asphalt concrete pavement, so that the aging speed of asphalt can be effectively delayed, and meanwhile self-healing of the asphalt can be achieved without repairing.
