The metal glaze rock plate ground glaze comprises a basic glaze material and a ceramic inorganic pigment, wherein the ceramic inorganic pigment accounts for 0-10% of the mass of the basic glaze material; the basic glaze is prepared from the following raw materials in percentage by mass: 28 to 35 percent of potassium feldspar, 28 to 35 percent of albite, 12 to 20 percent of kaolin, 12 to 20 percent of calcined soil and 0 to 5 percent of zirconium silicate. The ground glaze is relatively low in surface glossiness after being fired by a kiln, and is suitable for producing a metal glaze rock plate product with an unpolished surface. Due to the fact that the zirconium content is small, the ceramic inorganic pigment added into the basic glaze can normally show the original color development capacity, and the color development performance after the ceramic inorganic pigment is added is met. After the ground glaze is fired, the surface glossiness is low, the metal texture of metal glaze is highlighted, the metal luster and the metal color can be normally shown, and the decorated metal glaze has good three-dimensional texture of a raised embossment.
