The invention relates to an overhead terrace mounting structure and a construction method thereof. The overhead terrace mounting structure comprises base layer plates arranged on the ground; composite floor tiles are arranged on a base layer plate, and adjusting feet are arranged between the base layer plate and the ground. Partition plates are arranged on the sides, opposite to the base layer plate, of the adjusting feet; the vertex angle parts of the adjacent base layer plates are clamped on a partition plate; and a height adjusting mechanism is arranged at the bottom of the partition plate. According to the overhead terrace mounting structure and the construction method thereof, a lifting sleeve, a middle sleeve and a fixed base are connected through threads, the base layer plate is arranged after the height is pre-adjusted, and the height of an adjusting foot can be finely adjusted through a straight screwdriver after arrangement. As the base layer plate does not need to be in direct contact with the ground, later renovation is needed, the ground does not need to be damaged, and the whole-course dry-method operation greatly improves the installation efficiency.
