The invention discloses a device for lowering a steel hanging box cofferdam. The device comprises a supporting bracket, a bearing beam, a vertical jack, a carrying pole beam, a finish rolling deformed steel bar hanging rod, a first nut, a second nut and a third nut; the supporting bracket is welded to the outer side of a supporting steel pipe pile, the steel hanging box cofferdam is located on the supporting bracket, the bearing beam is located on the supporting steel pipe pile, and the vertical jack is fixedly connected with the bearing beam; the carrying pole beam is positioned at the upper end of the vertical jack; the lower end of the finish rolling deformed steel bar hanging rod is connected with a hanging point of the steel hanging box cofferdam; and the second nut is matched with the finish rolling deformed steel bar hanging rod and located between the carrying pole beam and the bearing beam, and the third nut is matched with the finish rolling deformed steel bar hanging rod and located at the upper side of the carrying pole beam. By means of the device, the supporting steel pipe pile in water is used as a fulcrum, the bearing beam, the jack and the carrying pole beam are arranged above the supporting steel pipe pile, the steel hanging box cofferdam can be lowered conveniently and rapidly through combination of the jack and the finish rolling deformed steel bar hanging rod, and the device is easy and convenient to use and operate, low in manufacturing cost and high in operation efficiency.
