The invention relates to a reinforcing steel bar connecting mechanism. The reinforcing steel bar connecting mechanism comprises at least two locking blocks and at least two sleeves, wherein the at least two sleeves are arranged outside the locking blocks, and one locking block and one sleeve are arranged at the opposite ends of two connected reinforcing steel bars respectively. The reinforcing steel bar connecting mechanism is characterized in that an arc groove smaller than half of the circumference is formed in each locking block, rib grooves are formed in each arc groove at intervals, the size of the rib grooves is matched with that of transverse ribs for containing the connected reinforcing steel bars, and the sides, back to the arc grooves, of the locking blocks are locking block inclined faces; the sleeves are circular tubes with special-shaped inner holes, and sleeve inner hole inclined faces are arranged on one side of the inner holes in one end of the sleeves; the locking blocks are arranged on the sides, with the transverse ribs, of the connected reinforcing steel bars, the arc grooves of the locking blocks are attached to the outer circles of the connected reinforcing steel bars, and the transverse ribs of the connected reinforcing steel bars are located in the rib grooves; and the sleeve inner hole inclined faces on one side of the inner holes in one end of the sleeves are attached to the locking block inclined faces on the sides, back to the arc grooves, of the locking blocks, and the connected reinforcing steel bars are arranged on the other sides, opposite to the sleeve inner hole inclined faces, of the sleeve inner holes in an offset mode. The reinforcing steel bar connecting mechanism has the advantages of the simple structure, reliability in connection and convenience in installation and on-site construction.
