The invention discloses a method for preparing an aerated brick from ardealite and the aerated brick prepared by using the method, and relates to the technical field of building materials. The method for preparing the aerated brick by using phosphogypsum comprises the following steps: S1, pretreatment: weighing additive raw materials, carrying out ball milling to prepare an additive, wherein the additive raw materials comprise, in parts by weight, 10-20 parts of ardealite slag and 120-180 parts of lime powder, weighing water, adding fly ash and sand, and carrying out ball milling to prepare slurry; S2, mixing: adding the additive into the slurry to prepare concrete slurry; S3, pouring and standing: injecting the concrete slurry into a mold, and conducting standing to obtain a concrete blank; and S4, steam curing: cutting the concrete blank into concrete bricks, and transferring the concrete bricks into a still kettle for curing to obtain the aerated bricks. The method for preparing the aerated brick by using the phosphogypsum has the advantage of high production efficiency. The aerated brick prepared by the method for preparing the aerated brick from the phosphogypsum has the advantage of low process cost.
