The magnesium-rich nickel slag geopolymer porous material comprises 500-900 parts of magnesium-rich nickel slag, 100-500 parts of fly ash, 100-400 parts of an exciting agent, 200-400 parts of water, 1-100 parts of a foaming agent and 1-30 parts of a foam stabilizer. The exciting agent comprises Na2SiO3, NaOH and phosphoric acid, and when the exciting agent is NaOH, the part of the exciting agent in the total raw materials is the part of pure NaOH; when the exciting agent comprises Na2SiO3 and NaOH, the part of the exciting agent in the total raw materials is the sum of the parts of pure Na2SiO3 and NaOH; when the exciting agent comprises phosphoric acid, the part of phosphoric acid in the total raw materials is the part of pure phosphoric acid. According to the invention, the foaming agent and the foam stabilizer are used for preparing the porous material, and the method has the advantages of simple processing technology, environmental protection, low energy consumption and low cost, and can show large porosity and good compressive strength.
